Bengaluru, September 2025 – Abbas Khan Degree College for Women, managed by the Central Muslim Association (CMA) of Karnataka, came alive with creativity and ambition as it hosted its annual Business Day Utsav—a celebration of women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship, arts, and crafts.

The Utsav transformed the campus into a bustling marketplace, where students showcased everything from handmade art to culinary creations. This year’s event expanded its reach, welcoming participants from leading Bengaluru colleges such as Bishop Cotton and St. Theresa. “Our goal is to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of every young woman and provide a platform to turn ideas into action,” said Attar Syed Murtaza Hussain, General Secretary of CMA.

Principal Dr. M.S. Vidya highlighted that the college organizes tech fests, debates, and cultural programs throughout the year to help students gain real-world skills. “Events like this teach lessons no classroom can—teamwork, leadership, and the courage to innovate,” she noted.
