Transforming Education for Future Generations
ZPKPS Bidkin, a 100-year-old institution, currently educates over 800 students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. With enrolment projected to rise to 1,200, the school requires urgent infrastructure upgrades to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Under the three-year initiative (2025–2028), TKM will support comprehensive renovations, focusing on modernizing facilities to foster inclusive and quality education. This intervention reflects Toyota’s CSR philosophy of Samuday Vikas (holistic community development), which prioritizes education as a catalyst for long-term societal progress.
Shri Deelip Swami, Collector & District Magistrate, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, emphasized the significance of the partnership:
“We welcome Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s collaboration in upgrading ZPKPS Bidkin, a vital institution for underprivileged students. With rising enrolments, this initiative will significantly enhance learning conditions. Strengthening public education through such partnerships is crucial for inclusive growth.”
Toyota’s Education-Focused CSR Strategy
Education remains a cornerstone of TKM’s CSR initiatives, aligned with national programs like Skill India and the National Education Policy. The company’s interventions span early childhood education, foundational literacy, and school infrastructure development, ensuring equitable access to learning resources.
Mr. Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, TKM, stated:
“Our vision extends beyond mobility—we see education as a powerful enabler of inclusive development. By modernizing ZPKPS Bidkin, we are investing in future generations. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to ‘Creating Mobility for All’—transforming lives and uplifting communities.”
