Happiest Diagnostics Secures NABL Accreditation, Paving Way for Advanced Testing
Bangalore, India – In a significant boost to its credibility and technical capabilities, Happiest Diagnostics, a unit of Happiest Health, has secured accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). Achieving this benchmark for quality and procedural rigor within just two years of operation underscores the organization’s early maturity and strong governance frameworks.
The accreditation provides a foundational assurance of accuracy, reproducibility, and traceability across its diagnostic services. It also marks a strategic step in the company’s roadmap toward advanced, data-intensive testing.
A Foundation for Future-Ready Diagnostics
The NABL recognition is seen as a critical enabler for the company’s planned expansion into complex diagnostic domains. The accreditation process was streamlined as the labs were designed and operated from inception in alignment with NABL guidelines.
“Our vision is to build a future-ready diagnostics platform governed by strong quality systems, capable of handling complex biological data, and scalable for advanced testing needs,” said Mr. Ashok Soota, Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer of Happiest Health. “This milestone strengthens our foundation to systematically expand into molecular, genomic, and preventive diagnostics.”
Driving Patient Trust and Clinical Reliability
For Happiest Diagnostics, the accreditation translates directly into enhanced trust for patients and clinicians. “It assures patients and clinicians that every report is built on rigor, consistency, and trust,” stated Mr. Davis Karedan, Co-Chairman & COO of Happiest Health. He emphasized the focus on delivering an experience that is “accurate, transparent, and dependable at every touchpoint—from sample collection to interpretation.”

Expanding Portfolio with Advanced Offerings
Concurrently, the company is building a large reference laboratory set to nearly triple its accredited test portfolio. This hub will centralize advanced and specialized testing, including molecular and genomic analyses. An early example is the recently introduced Gut Microbiome Test, which uses high-throughput sequencing to generate over 5 GB of microbial genomic data per sample, offering insights into digestive health and metabolic balance.
“Receiving NABL accreditation validates the strength of our quality and clinical frameworks,” explained Dr. Bikash Kumar Chaudhury, CEO & Senior Vice President of Happiest Diagnostics. “This milestone supports the expansion of our clinical offerings, particularly in advanced and data-intensive diagnostics, while ensuring complex biological data is governed responsibly.”
Looking ahead, Happiest Diagnostics plans continued investment in automation and quality systems, aiming to build a nationally trusted, clinically rigorous diagnostic ecosystem aligned with the future of predictive and personalized medicine.
