Girls have once again outperformed boys in the board exams. The pass percentage among female students stands at 91.64%, while for male students it is 85.70%. A total of 16,92,794 students had registered for the examination, out of which 11,54,000 have cleared it.

As many as 1.11 lakh students scored above 90%, and 24,867 students secured more than 95%. However, about 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.

The CBSE has made the results available on its official websites — cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in, and cbse.gov.in. In addition, students can also access their marksheets through the DigiLocker and UMANG mobile applications.

To check results via the UMANG app, students need to download the app, search for “CBSE 12th Result 2025,” and enter their roll number and other required details. The results, including subject-wise marks and overall grade, will be displayed on the screen. Similarly, DigiLocker allows students to download and store their digital marksheet, which is treated as a valid official document.

Clarifying the process, CBSE officials stated that physical copies of marksheets will not be distributed immediately through schools. Instead, students are advised to use online platforms to access and download their results.

Students facing any issues can reach out to CBSE support through official helplines or email. The board has urged students and parents to rely only on official sources for accurate information.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan congratulated the students on their performance and acknowledged the efforts of teachers and parents. “The hard work of students, supported by their families and teachers, has brought positive results,” he said.

The board also informed that the results for the Class 10 examination will be released shortly. Students are advised to keep checking the CBSE website and official apps for updates.
