Sree Thanuja – Profile at a Glance
Sree Thanuja: Turning Adversity into Strength, Healing into Purpose
Sree Thanuja’s life is a powerful story of responsibility embraced early and challenges transformed into purpose. Raised in a nuclear family, she learned independence at a young age. At just seven, her mother survived a severe fire accident, while her father’s role as a sales manager required constant travel across states. Circumstances compelled Thanuja to shoulder household responsibilities—managing daily errands, coordinating with neighbors, and navigating adult responsibilities long before her age. These formative years nurtured emotional maturity, adaptability, resilience, and a deep understanding of human behavior.
Her mother has been a profound influence, teaching her patience, perseverance, and the art of adjusting with grace during adversity. A strong believer in education and lifelong learning, her mother encouraged Thanuja to explore creativity. This guidance led her into diverse art forms, including Mandala, Madhubani, Warli painting, and crochet. Her exceptional dedication to crochet earned her three Guinness World Records, symbolizing discipline, consistency, and creative excellence.
Thanuja’s father remains her greatest teacher, imparting values of integrity, service, and selfless help through real-life stories. Her elder sister, though older only by age, nurtured in her compassion, responsibility, and care. Together, her family instilled the moral compass and inner strength that guide her journey.

In her personal life, Thanuja draws immense strength from her husband’s quiet support and her two children, currently in the 7th and 4th grades. She believes children learn more through observation than instruction, and she strives to inspire them through her actions. Academically, she holds an MBA, completed in her hometown. Though her career initially took a different direction, life’s challenges redirected her toward a higher calling.
In her early thirties, a severe ligament tear left her physically immobile and emotionally distressed. This phase was compounded by the loss of her father and a close friend’s accident, pushing her into deep depression and health complications. In her search for healing, she turned to yoga. What began as therapy soon became transformation—restoring her body, calming her mind, and strengthening her spirit.
Inspired by this change, Thanuja pursued professional training in yoga and clinical nutrition and gradually evolved into a life coach. She began writing short motivational reflections for women grappling with emotional challenges related to family, marriage, finances, and self-worth. Her words became daily affirmations for many, guiding them toward yoga, meditation, and inner balance.
Today, Sree Thanuja dedicates nearly seven hours daily to teaching yoga and meditation. Her mission is to empower women to become emotionally strong, mentally resilient, physically healthy, and confidently self-reliant. She firmly believes true empowerment begins within—and when women are centered, they transform their families, communities, and society at large.
