“India’s Palestine Solidarity at Risk? Bengaluru Group Urges MPs to Cut Ties with Israeli-Linked Firms”

Bengaluru Advocacy Group Urges MPs to Act Against Local Firms Linked to Israeli Defense Companies

August 6, 2025

Bengaluru-Based Firms Accused of Complicity in Israel’s Military Actions

In a bold move, Bengaluru for Justice and Peace (BfJP) has issued an open letter to Members of Parliament (MPs), demanding immediate action against nine Bengaluru-based companies accused of supplying critical components to Israeli defense firms involved in military operations in Palestine. The letter highlights collaborations between these Indian firms and three major Israeli arms manufacturers—Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries, and Raphael Advanced Defense Systems—alleging their role in facilitating “genocide and war crimes” in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories.

The advocacy group’s letter warns that India’s historic solidarity with Palestine, rooted in its own anti-colonial struggle, risks being “irreversibly betrayed” if these corporate ties remain unchecked.

List of Accused Companies

The firms named in the letter include:

  • Ace Inotec Manufacturing Private Limited (AIMPL)

  • Alpha Design Technologies Private Limited (ADTPL)

  • Alpha-Elsec Aerospace Systems

  • Amphenol Interconnect India Pvt Ltd

  • Amphetronix Offset Interconnect Solutions Pvt Ltd

  • DCX Systems Limited

  • Defsys Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

  • Indo-MIM Pvt. Ltd.

  • SASMOS HET Technologies Ltd.

  • Wave Mechanics Private Limited

Most of these companies were previously flagged in a report by Workers in Palestine, a global civil society alliance advocating for a boycott of Israel.

Call for Arms Embargo and Legal Action

The letter urges MPs to push for an arms embargo on Israel, citing India’s constitutional obligations and international legal frameworks.

“It is in this context that we warn you that India’s long-standing legacy of solidarity with the Palestinian people—rooted in our own anti-colonial struggle—now stands in grave danger of being irreversibly betrayed,” the letter states.

BfJP further argues that Article 51 of the Indian Constitution, alongside the Genocide Convention and other domestic laws, mandates corporate accountability in such cases. The group insists that the government must scrutinize these business ties to prevent complicity in human rights violations.

Growing Pressure on Defense Collaborations

The appeal comes amid escalating global scrutiny over military supply chains linked to Israel’s operations in Palestine. While India has historically maintained diplomatic ties with both Israel and Palestine, activists argue that defense collaborations undermine its stated commitment to Palestinian rights.

BfJP’s letter amplifies calls for ethical business practices, urging lawmakers to ensure Indian firms do not contribute to conflicts abroad.
