All India Milli Council Reconstitutes Jharkhand Unit, Focuses on Unity, Community Welfare and District-Level Expansion
Raanchi: The All India Milli Council, Jharkhand, elected a new state committee at a meeting held at the Ranchi Haj House after the completion of the outgoing committee’s three-year term. Representatives from different districts of the state attended the meeting, which focused on strengthening the organisation, promoting unity and expanding its activities across Jharkhand.
Dr. Majeed Alam, a surgeon from Ranchi, was unanimously elected as the new State President. The meeting also approved a 21-member executive committee to lead the organisation’s activities for the next term. Members said the election process was conducted smoothly and reflected the collective confidence of the organisation in its new leadership.

Addressing the gathering after his election, Dr. Majeed Alam said, “I am encouraged by the participation of members from across the state. We will begin a new chapter for the Milli Council with renewed commitment and collective effort.”
Outlining his priorities, he said the council would strengthen its presence at the grassroots level by visiting one district every month. “Our objective is to reach people directly, explain the purpose and mission of the All India Milli Council, and encourage greater public participation in our activities,” he said.
Dr. Alam added, “We want to rebuild the organisation from the ground up and ensure that every district becomes an active part of our mission.”

Speakers at the meeting said the newly constituted committee would work to increase organisational activities across all districts while addressing issues affecting the community through dialogue and cooperation.
One of the senior members said, “The vision of the All India Milli Council is to unite the community and fulfil the responsibility of Khair-e-Ummat by working together for the common good.”
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from office-bearers and members to strengthen the organisation, promote unity, and work collectively to address community concerns across Jharkhand.
