Abbas Khan Degree College Leaders Honoured with National Laureate Principal Award in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, May 23, 2026: In a moment of pride for the academic community in Karnataka, two senior educators from Abbas Khan Degree College for Women were honoured with the prestigious National Laureate Principal Award at the Education Leadership Conclave 2026 held in Bengaluru.

The award ceremony, organised by Pi Media Solutions in association with UBTECH and Novus EdTech Private Limited, took place at Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Hebbal, as part of the National Laureate Awards – University Summit 2026. The recognition celebrated educational leaders for their “outstanding dedication and creative approaches in developing well-rounded learners equipped for life.”

Educators Recognised for Academic Leadership

The award was presented to Dr. M.S. Vidya and Dr. Syeda Tabassum S. G for their contributions to academic excellence, student development and progressive educational practices.

The recognition is seen as a significant achievement for Abbas Khan Degree College for Women and the Central Management Association (CMA) of Karnataka, which has consistently promoted quality education and leadership in academic institutions.

Attar Syed Murtaza Hussain, General Secretary of CMA Karnataka, congratulated both awardees and praised their commitment to the field of education.

“I appreciate the hard work and relentless efforts of Dr. M.S. Vidya and Dr. Syeda Tabassum S. G. Their dedication towards shaping young minds and striving for excellence has brought pride to the institution and the academic community,” he said.

Awardees Express Gratitude

Expressing her happiness over the recognition, Dr. M.S. Vidya, Principal of Abbas Khan Degree College for Women, thanked the organisers for hosting the conclave and recognising the efforts of educators.

“We are grateful to Novus EdTech for organising the beautiful Education Leadership Conclave 2026 and for this honour. I also thank the management of CMA Karnataka for its continuous encouragement and support towards achieving the best,” she said.

Dr. Syeda Tabassum S. G, Vice Principal of the college, echoed similar sentiments and said the recognition would further motivate educators to continue working towards empowering students through quality education and holistic learning.
