From Students to Mentors: CMA Alumni Step Up to Support the Next Generation

CMA High School Launches Alumni Association to Empower Future Generations

Bengaluru: In a remarkable step toward community-driven education, CMA High School has announced the formation of its first-ever alumni association, an initiative designed to unite former students in support of current learners, especially those from economically weaker backgrounds.

Inspired by Alumni Contributions

The idea gained momentum after former student Afzal Pasha generously began offering scholarships to underprivileged students. His gesture inspired the school to formally establish an alumni association that would create a platform for collective giving, experience-sharing, and mentorship.

“Afzal Pasha’s contributions showed us what a single alumnus can do. Through this association, we aim to channel the collective strength of all our alumni for the growth of CMA High School and its students,” said Attar Syed Murtaza, General Secretary, CMA of Karnataka.

Affordable Education, Big Dreams

CMA High School has long stood out for its commitment to affordable education, charging only government-mandated fees while covering maintenance and other costs from its own resources. This effort ensures that children from marginalized and economically backward families receive quality education without financial barriers.

“Many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our mission is to ensure that poverty never becomes a roadblock to education,” Murtaza added.

Alumni Association: Building Bridges Across Generations

The new association plans to host annual alumni meets, providing opportunities for former students to reconnect, share professional experiences, and contribute resources toward scholarships, infrastructure, and skill-building programs. The school leadership believes such gatherings will strengthen community bonds and inspire present students by showing them the success stories of their seniors.

Modern Classrooms, Brighter Futures

CMA High School is also investing in cutting-edge teaching tools. Smart interactive boards have recently been introduced to create a more engaging learning environment.

“Our goal is to help students achieve high distinctions and reach 100% results. Interactive boards and motivational sessions will help us achieve this,” explained Hussain Sharif, Joint Secretary, CMA of Karnataka.

A Vision for Excellence

With the alumni association’s support and the school’s continuous improvements in infrastructure and pedagogy, CMA High School aims to build a culture of excellence and empowerment. Teachers and alumni alike believe that education, when combined with mentorship and modern tools, can transform lives.

“We want every child here not just to study, but to dream big, achieve distinctions, and become leaders of tomorrow,” Murtaza emphasized.
