CMA Mominpura Students Shine in Cluster-Level Sports, Excel in Volleyball and Throwball
Bengaluru: Students of CMA Mominpura Higher Primary School have brought sporting recognition to the institution with an impressive performance in recent cluster-level competitions in Bengaluru, excelling in volleyball and throwball across boys’ and girls’ categories.
Competing against teams from other schools in the Bengaluru cluster, the students displayed discipline, teamwork and confidence on the field. The school recorded notable success in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories, with its girls’ teams emerging among the winners and runners-up in volleyball and throwball.
The boys and girls also put up competitive performances against experienced school teams, adding another achievement to the institution’s growing participation in sports.
‘Victory Begins with Discipline’
Aslam Pasha, Director, Sports Department, CMA Institutions, said the achievement reflected the students’ commitment to training and teamwork.
“Every medal and every victory has hours of practice behind it. Our children have shown that determination, discipline and teamwork can take them beyond the classroom and onto the winners’ podium,” he said.
Pasha said sporting opportunities were particularly important at the school level as they helped children develop confidence, resilience and leadership qualities.

Congratulating the teams, Saniya Farzeen, Administrator, CMA Institutions, said education should provide children opportunities to discover abilities beyond academics.
“When children are given encouragement and the right platform, they surprise us with what they can achieve. These young players competed with confidence and have made their school proud. Their success should inspire many more students, especially girls, to participate in sports,” she said.

Attar Syed Murtaza Hussain, General Secretary, CMA Karnataka, said the students’ performance demonstrated the importance of combining education with sports and personality development.
“A classroom builds knowledge, while the sports field teaches courage, discipline, teamwork and how to rise again after a setback. We want our students to become not merely winners in competitions, but confident individuals capable of facing the challenges of life,” Hussain said.
He congratulated the students, coaches and school staff, saying their collective effort had turned the cluster-level competition into a memorable achievement for CMA Mominpura Higher Primary School.
CMA Students Shine Across Athletics and Team Sports
Students of CMA Primary and High School registered an impressive medal and championship haul at the Cluster-Level Sports competitions. In athletics, Under-17 girls secured first and second places in discus throw and second place in shot put, while Under-14 girls claimed first and second places in discus throw, second in shot put and third in long jump. The Under-17 boys won first place in shot put and second places in discus throw, long jump and high jump.
CMA students were equally successful in team events, with Under-17 girls emerging winners in volleyball, throwball, kabaddi and badminton, while Under-14 girls won volleyball, throwball and kabaddi. The Under-17 boys swept volleyball, throwball, kabaddi and badminton, and the Under-14 boys added another title by winning throwball, making it a memorable all-round sporting achievement for the school.
