From Professional Pursuits to a Deeper Purpose
Nominated for the Abhaya Dasabhuja Award 2026, C.S. Ashwini’s journey is rooted in kindness, resilience and an enduring desire to help others. She began her career with education in Secretarial Practice and Commerce and worked as a Medical Transcriptionist before pursuing her passion for fashion designing. She later became an entrepreneur and freelancer, building her own home-based online fashion business.
Over time, however, Ashwini realised that her purpose extended beyond professional achievement. Her growing desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives led her towards a path of service and spiritual learning.
Spiritual Learning that Became a Source of Service
Nearly seven years ago, Ashwini began her spiritual journey, exploring Reiki, meditation, Pancha Daiva healing and other spiritual modalities. The knowledge and experiences gained through teachers and courses strengthened her personal growth while equipping her to guide, support and encourage others.
From COVID-19 Service to a Continuing Mission
The COVID-19 pandemic became a defining chapter in her service journey. Beginning with online social service in 2020, Ashwini used WhatsApp and social media to assist people, share useful information and reach those in need. Her service continued beyond the pandemic, extending to supporting women entrepreneurs, raising funds for students and people facing health-related difficulties, volunteering with temples and social organisations, and encouraging young people to embrace positivity and meaningful living.
Her contributions have also earned appreciation for her COVID-19 service, while her involvement as a judge at children’s talent events reflects her continuing engagement with young people.
A Vision Rooted in Women, Children and Human Values
If given the opportunity to represent the group as Brand Ambassador, Ashwini envisions carrying the Dashabhuja spirit forward through mentorship, compassion and empowerment. Her focus is on encouraging women to recognise their unique potential and helping children reconnect with spiritual and human values while developing emotional strength, wisdom and confidence.
For Ashwini, success is not simply about personal achievement. It is about making life meaningful by helping others rise. Her journey reflects a belief that when service is offered with love, humility and faith, personal growth becomes a pathway to collective transformation.
