Dreams into Achievements: Sindhuja V B’s Inspiring Mission to Educate, Empower and Transform Lives

Sindhuja V B: Empowering Young Minds, Inspiring Women and Turning Learning into a Lifelong Journey

Sindhuja V B, a Bengaluru-based educator, social worker, entrepreneur, radio personality and accomplished achiever, has dedicated her journey to empowering children, educators and women through the transformative power of learning. Nominated in the Education Category for the award, Sindhuja’s story is one of determination, compassion, resilience and an unwavering belief that every individual has the potential to learn, grow and achieve.

She began her professional journey at the young age of 21, shortly after completing her education. Initially working as a teacher in her hometown, Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh, she discovered her passion for introducing children to new and creative ways of learning. In 2013, she established Dream Catchers, an initiative that began with a modest vision but soon touched hundreds of young lives. She pioneered summer camps in her hometown, eventually reaching more than 300 students from the town and over 10 surrounding villages.

Through Dream Catchers, more than 800 students have explored diverse skills including Rubik’s Cube, chess, art and craft, drawing and painting, Zentangle art, abacus and calligraphy. She began offering classes at just ₹300 per month and regularly conducted free sessions for children who could not afford them. Her commitment extended to teacher training and workshops, strengthening the impact beyond individual students.

Even after marriage, Sindhuja continued her mission with the wholehearted support of her husband and family. During the COVID-19 pandemic, including while pregnant, she continued conducting online classes. Her virtual teaching journey eventually reached 1,000+ students across more than 20 countries, often requiring her to work late into the night to accommodate different time zones.

Her achievements span numerous national and international record platforms, including Guinness World Records, World Wide Book of Records, India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records and several others. She also serves as an adjudicator for the World Wide Book of Records, International Yoga Book of Records and Kids Book of Records.

In 2025, she founded Talent Knacks and Talent Knacks (Tamil)—a women-led platform offering courses through certified trainers and record holders, while helping learners transform their skills into entrepreneurial opportunities. Launched on International Women’s Day, its guiding philosophy is: “By the women, of the women and for the women.”

Sindhuja also works as an RJ at TAL Radio Telugu and collaborates with NGOs to conduct classes for government-school students and workshops for teachers.

At the heart of her remarkable journey is a simple philosophy: “Be Always a Learner.” For Sindhuja, every achievement is not an endpoint but a new beginning—a reminder that there is always something more to learn, inspire and accomplish.
