Smitha Oletty<\/strong>, nominated for the Abhaya Dasabhuja Award 2026<\/strong>, embodies resilience, compassion and the courage to transform life\u2019s challenges into a purposeful journey of service. Born into a loving family, Smitha experienced difficult years of financial hardship at a young age. Standing alongside her mother, she balanced education with family responsibilities while becoming an emotional pillar for her loved ones.<\/p>\n

As circumstances improved, Smitha pursued her dream of studying Interior Designing and embraced student life. It was during this period that she experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Drawn deeply into Navaratri celebrations and ashram life, she took active responsibility in organising pujas and assisting in Amma\u2019s spiritual activities. Through this experience, she discovered a calling that would redefine her life\u2014seva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Driven by a desire to help people, Smitha pursued various healing courses and learned under experienced masters. While others spent their pocket money on leisure, she invested hers in learning and volunteered alongside her mentors, offering emotional and spiritual support to people seeking healing. Despite her father\u2019s wish that she join his business, her heart remained committed to serving people rather than pursuing material comfort.<\/p>\n

Marriage and motherhood brought new responsibilities, compelling her to temporarily step away from healing and spiritual service. Years later, when a close family member needed healing, her dormant passion returned. Her husband, recognising its importance to her, became her strongest supporter. She gradually resumed healing while contributing to his business, organising events and managing family responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Today, Smitha continues her healing and service journey while balancing her roles as wife, mother and daughter. She has also emerged as a leader among women entrepreneurs, having been elected President of a women entrepreneurs\u2019 group, where she supports and encourages fellow women.<\/p>\n
