Their determination challenged the arrogance of power and demonstrated that democratic values remain alive,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1879\">He also credited the participation of Left-leaning student groups, the Jai Bhim movement and independent social media platforms for strengthening the protests and shaping public discourse.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"2050\">&#8220;Social media has emerged as a credible alternative narrative, challenging sections of the mainstream media and amplifying the voices of ordinary citizens,&#8221; he observed.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1paymj7\" data-start=\"2052\" data-end=\"2096\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"2055\" data-end=\"2096\">Government&#8217;s Political Miscalculation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2292\">Nizamuddin alleged that the government had underestimated the depth of public dissatisfaction, warning that attempts to dismiss or ignore growing public sentiment could prove politically costly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2294\" data-end=\"2532\">&#8220;This movement is no longer confined to demands for the resignation of the Education Minister or concerns over paper leaks. It has evolved into a wider expression of public dissatisfaction over governance during the past decade,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2534\" data-end=\"2723\">He further argued that traditional political narratives, including attempts to consolidate support through polarising issues, appeared to be losing their effectiveness among younger voters.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1gkmb0h\" data-start=\"2725\" data-end=\"2771\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"2728\" data-end=\"2771\">Call for Peaceful Democratic Engagement<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2773\" data-end=\"2956\">While acknowledging reports of police excesses during the protests, Nizamuddin praised the restraint shown by demonstrators and urged that the movement remain peaceful and democratic.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2958\" data-end=\"3168\">&#8220;The patience and maturity displayed by the youth deserve appreciation. Peaceful protest is the strength of democracy, and maintaining discipline will ensure that the movement retains its moral force,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3369\">He also called upon opposition parties to engage responsibly with the emerging public sentiment by providing constructive leadership while preserving the movement&#8217;s democratic and peaceful character.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3371\" data-end=\"3556\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">&#8220;The voice of India&#8217;s youth represents hope, accountability and democratic participation.
