The rally also sought the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while spreading the message that no student should lose hope or consider suicide as a solution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"1331\">Led by KPYCC State President <strong data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"807\">H.S. Manjunath<\/strong>, the rally commenced from the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office and proceeded via K.R. Circle to the Gandhi Statue. Hariprasad<\/strong> said the campaign was inspired by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi&#8217;s initiative launched in Kota to instil confidence among students facing academic stress and uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1936\">Referring to alleged irregularities in national-level examinations, Hariprasad claimed that the future of nearly <strong data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1754\">1.4 crore students<\/strong> had been affected due to question paper leaks and examination-related controversies. He also alleged that several students had died by suicide following the NEET examination crisis.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1938\" data-end=\"2177\">&#8220;Our intention is to ensure that students do not lose confidence or hope. They must believe that they are not alone. This bicycle rally has been organised to encourage students to face challenges with courage rather than despair,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2179\" data-end=\"2565\">Hariprasad further urged students and youth to actively participate in shaping policies that determine their future. &#8220;The Constitution empowers citizens to demand better governance. Students must organise, raise their voices and compel governments to implement better educational policies. Manjunath<\/strong> stressed that no student should become a victim of what he described as failures in the examination system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2862\" data-end=\"3153\">&#8220;No student should sacrifice their life because of the shortcomings of a corrupt system. Change comes through sustained democratic struggle, not through suicide. Parents must also understand the emotional state of their children and stand firmly beside them during difficult times,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3155\" data-end=\"3460\">He alleged that examination malpractices were enabling undeserving candidates with financial influence to secure prestigious positions, undermining merit and fairness. Manjunath asserted that the Youth Congress would continue its campaign until meaningful reforms are introduced in the examination system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3462\" data-end=\"3788\">Criticising the Union government, he alleged that repeated instances of question paper leaks had eroded public trust in the examination process and claimed that no one had been held accountable in such cases. He also accused the government of failing to acknowledge the emotional distress faced by students and their families.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1smzqob\" data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"3825\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"3794\" data-end=\"3825\">Key Demands of the Campaign<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3827\" data-end=\"3901\">The Youth Congress placed three major demands before the Union Government:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3903\" data-end=\"4266\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1ixwr76\" data-start=\"3903\" data-end=\"3968\">Resignation of Union Education Minister <strong data-start=\"3945\" data-end=\"3967\">Dharmendra Pradhan<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"c2kuld\" data-start=\"3969\" data-end=\"4092\">A comprehensive investigation into the functioning of the <strong data-start=\"4029\" data-end=\"4062\">National Testing Agency (NTA)<\/strong>, along with systemic reforms.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"2buuwd\" data-start=\"4093\" data-end=\"4266\">Preparation and strict implementation of an annual academic calendar covering examinations, results and recruitment to ensure transparency and predictability for students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1403c5\" data-start=\"4268\" data-end=\"4291\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"4272\" data-end=\"4291\">Leaders Present<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4293\" data-end=\"4569\">Among those present at the rally were MLC <strong data-start=\"4335\" data-end=\"4352\">D.T.
