Bengaluru:<\/strong> Wisdom International School, part of the Wisdom Group of Institutions, conducted its Student Representative Election (SRE) 2026<\/span><\/strong> at its Richmond Town campus on Norris Road, giving students a hands-on experience of the democratic process while promoting leadership, responsibility and civic awareness.<\/p>\n

Designed to mirror a real election, the exercise saw students participate as voters and election officials, complete with ballot papers, voter identity cards, polling arrangements, ink marking and designated roles such as Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Returning Officers and Election Commission representatives. The initiative aimed to help students understand the value of voting and the importance of choosing capable leaders.<\/p>\n

Maryam said the election taught students how to choose representatives who can improve their school and serve the needs of fellow students. \u201cA good leader should work for the welfare of people, promote peace and harmony, and focus on education and opportunities for everyone,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The election process was conducted under the supervision of Capt. Syed Meeran, Election Commissioner, Shivakumar, BLO, Rahmatullah Shah, Presiding Officer, and Moulana Sheik Qamruddin.<\/span><\/p>\n
